Jo Ann Terry, 74, of Noblesville, went home to be with the Lord Monday, November 24, 2008. Jo Ann was born on September 19, 1934 in Indianapolis, the daughter of Walter and Loretta Luckett. She was adopted by Frank and Margaret Kretzer after the early death of her parents. Jo Ann always loved to volunteer in any capacity. She started volunteering at Riverwalk Village in 1984. She then went on to become Activities director at Riverwalk. Jo Ann later went to school to become an L.P.N. at the Alzheimer’s unit until she retired in 1999. She was a dedicated member of Our Lady of Grace Church, where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She also worked as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and St. Vincent Depaul Society. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Wayne Terry. Survivors also include sons Tom, Kenny, Bobby, and Jason, daughters Susie (Tom) Benefiel and Marianne (Mitch) Weaver. Also surviving are grandchildren Shannon Potter, Kristen (Travis) Bloom, Katie (Jason) Flegle, John (Anjulene) Weaver, Spencer Weaver, and Shelbie Pryor; and great-grandchild Sterling Weaver. Her brothers Sydney (Ginny) Luckett and Bob (Lydia) Luckett; and sister Marianne Kretzer also survive her. She was preceded in death by her brothers Thomas and Richard Luckett. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Riverwalk Village Memory Care Unit 2, 295 Westfield Rd, Noblesville, IN 46060. Visitation will be held Sat, Nov 29th at Our Lady of Grace Church at 10am with Mass immediately following at 11am. She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
